Continuous Improvement Manager (m/f/d) You will guide the continuous improvement journey across the entire supply chain in one of our fast-growing sites in the region, to become the benchmark in our Givaudan world. In direct interaction with all employees you bring us in a practical and sustainable continuous improvement mode using your Black Belt capability (or equivalent). Standardization is one of the main levers to deliver tangible results through leading kaizens across the entire supply chain and manufacturing areas. You teach, you coach and promote application of methodologies: SMED, VSM, TPM and 6 Sigma, to release the full capabilities of our experienced organization. You will be based in Dortmund, Germany, and report directly to the Head of Operations Germany T&W and and report functionally to the Regional Europe/SAMEA CI Head. You have: Master's degree in Business Administration Experience in the food industry, knowing desired design standards Minimum 5 years of related experience in leading projects and people, supported by relevant training in the field of leadership (i.e. Senses, Servant Leadership) Certified Green Belt minimum (ideally Black Belt) or equivalent is mandatory Expert in communication with different partners on different levels Passionate about solving challenges Proficiency in German and English Leading by example, own behavior is always immaculate You will: You lead the Continuous Improvement (CI) yourney for the factory in Dortmund to provide support in all CI-relevant projects. You and the team will be active in the organization, setting the example on a daily basis and creating the enthusiasm and excitement to guarantee people engagement and active participation in this journey You lead the strategic site roadmap linked to our strategy cycle, by this you support the site operation Head You translate our goals and ideas into an achievable multi-year plan to put in motion at the site You lead affecting projects and with your excellent knowledge and project management skills, you support the organization to stay on track with our CI maturity assessment index You deploy, enhance and coach visual performance management systems to ensure execution Strengthen capability of our people through constant training and skill development programs You communicate with creativity and with knowledge of the diverse audiences to make sure relevant progress and data are well understood and used on all levels You will manage stakeholders inside the plants and on European level as part of a regional CI network You will be a role model on employee safety; food safety, hygiene and quality behavior and lead 5S deployment At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
